    The John D. Rockefeller IV Gallery features rotating exhibits and displays of manuscripts, archives, and rare books from the West Virginia & Regional History Center. It also hosts traveling exhibits about history, art, and culture.

    The West Virginia and Regional History Center is one of the foremost historical archives in the state of West Virginia. Among the WVHRC's holdings are leading collections of primary and secondary research resources regarding the history of West Virginia.

    Parking

    Visitors to the museum may park in Short Term Lot 1 (ST-1) or Short Term Lot 9 (ST-9). Between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the fee for Lot 1 is $.50/hr and Lot 9 is $1.25/hr. Both lots are free after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends, unless there is a special event such as a home football game. Visitors may also park for free anywhere in Area 51 on weekends and after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
