The John D. Rockefeller IV Gallery features rotating exhibits and displays of manuscripts, archives, and rare books from the West Virginia & Regional History Center. It also hosts traveling exhibits about history, art, and culture.

Visitors to the museum may park in Short Term Lot 1 (ST-1) or Short Term Lot 9 (ST-9). Between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the fee for Lot 1 is $.50/hr and Lot 9 is $1.25/hr. Both lots are free after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends, unless there is a special event such as a home football game. Visitors may also park for free anywhere in Area 51 on weekends and after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
